New Mini Series

0 min read
Those who look at my submissions will notice five new additions. These are my first official attempt at a Star Wars Mini Series. I've done a ton over the years, but this is the first series that I'm actually happy enough with to post (in the Star Wars genre, anyway). Please enjoy the series and feel free to let me know what you think about it (abusive comments will be ignored and dismissed). For Reference: Mini Series order 1.) New Master 2.) Encounter 3.) Compassion 4.) Boundaries (the first actually written) 5.) Conflict Previews of each of these pieces can be found in the descriptions of each. The Wolf bids you good day.

What can I say right now? Life seems to be progressing and yet somehow manages to feel stagnant. I think this is the time of year when everything is changing but in ways that not everyone recognizes. All I know is that I'm having a hard time adjusting to no school and trying to find a job. However, I suppose that if those are my biggest worries in life right now I must be doing pretty good. I guess I'll just focus on something tangible like putting the finishing touches on my Fiance and I's wedding plans. That, at least, seems to be a concrete element in my life. With that in mind, I would tell anyone actually reading this to take stock of wh

I'm Worn...

0 min read
This won't be long. Essentially, I'm worn, mostly mentally. For those of you actually reading this, the reason for it is that one of my cats, Kisa, is sick. She's been vomiting and lethargic for over a week now. A visit to the vet told us that this could be as simple as a G.I. infection...or something much worse. I wanted to get her some diagnostic tests done that might be able to tell us what's truly wrong, but bottom line I couldn't afford it. Nothing makes you feel like a bad pet parent than not being able to really help your pet. On the other hand, if all she has is a bad stomach bug then the diagnostic testing would have been a major was

Hai. It's Shmabe. The complete Slipknot fanatic. Have a llama and a watch.
Thank you very much! I appreciate that.
Hey again. Congrats on getting married! I'm sure you and Riyoko will be really happy together!
Awkward transition that may or may not make me sound selfish here, but I'll risk it because I'm sleep deprived and I need people to cut me some slack. Blah, I've been sick for months and just had a blood test, because no one has any idea what's going on with me.
Anywho, I got myself an electric drumkit, some new drumsticks, including the 515 signature Joey Jordison drumsticks withhisbloodintheinkermahgerd. And I'm psyched.
You said you knew of that website with drumming... stuff... I've forgotten already. Do you mind sharing it with me some time, when you get around to it? Thanks.
Wow.
I do sound selfish.
SLEEP.
Thank you for the congratulations! Sorry I haven't been on to reply but with the honeymoon and job searching I haven't even been using my computer much.

Anyway, congrats on getting the new electric drum kit. I hope you're having fun with it. If I were smart, I'd have bought one a while ago so I can practice without pissing off my neighbors. Now, the website that I was talking about was Freedrumlessons.com. It starts out really slow, but I would encourage you to start from the beginning and go lesson by lesson. It may not seem like it at first, but it starts to pay off fast. My skills got much better by running those starter lessons on a daily basis. Let me know if you can't find the site and I'll try to link it to you. Good luck!

Oh, and I hope you get better. I know what it's like to not have the doctors know what's wrong with you. That type of situation landed me in the E.R. a couple years ago. Not fun.
Hey, thanks, man. Starting to get in to Static-X too. XD

Yeah, it's obviously not the same as an acoustic, or 'real' drum kit, but it's really good. I'd say I'm doing good so far. :P And the website was a big help, thanks.

Still drowning in painkillers, but they've gotta figure out what's wrong with me soon, right?
Hey. Just found myself here after reading FireMaster's journal entry. XD I love Korn, SlipKnoT, Disturbed and Five Finger Death Punch too. Not many people do. Just saying you're pretty epic. XD
That's awesome to hear, thank you! I'm a big fan not just of those bands' music, but of their technical capabilities. They are all great musicians, and as a fellow musician, I greatly respect their work. Not to mention all their music kicks ass. I've been a Korn fan since I was a kid, a Disturbed fan since they released The Sickness, and a FFDP fan since they got on the map. I couldn't tell you when I got into Slipknot. All I know is that Joey Jordison is an insane drummer. Sorry, I didn't mean to go off on a tangent there. So, you saw my icon on Firemaster's journal page? Do you watch her work?
